OverView

Indira Singh is a researcher, teacher, and administrator who has worked in multi-dimensional roles throughout her career. She has a PhD in Genetics, followed by post-doctoral training in systems biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, USA and in plant epigenetics from NCBS, Bengaluru. She has also worked for four years as an Assistant Professor in the Biochemistry Department at Delhi University. In addition, she has seven years of experience in the fundraising sector, working for the environmental research NGO ATREE in Bengaluru.

Currently, Indira works as a Lead at the IIHS School of Environment & Sustainability (SES), where her role as an anchor for the School involves developing strategic direction for the school, project management, proposals development, and undertaking research in the areas of soil health, agricultural, and environmental sustainability.
