About
The IIHS School of Systems & Infrastructure (SSI) focuses on transforming urban and infrastructure systems to improve equity, well-being, and environmental outcomes for cities and citizens.
The SSI works across urban systems and infrastructure governance, finance, technology, and service delivery to develop approaches that enable sustained economic, social, and environmental outcomes. Rooted in the Indian context and informed by global knowledge and experience, its work has relevance across cities in the Global South.
It engages across diverse areas including water and sanitation, solid waste management, energy, transport and mobility, land and planning, the built environment, and information technology and information technology-enabled services (IT/ITES).
